The Designer Elena Loviea

The Story Began in Carlsbad, California

At the Gemological Institute of America, I learned more than technique. Mr. Doug taught me how to see inspiration in everything and translate it into design. He encouraged me to take what moved me and build a collection around it, to tell a story through each piece. GIA became the place where my passion took shape, giving me the knowledge, guidance, and community that set the path for my career.

Every collection begins with a single source of inspiration, the journey of coffee. From the delicate white flower that blooms on the coffee plant to the rich cultural origins of the bean in Yemin.

The story of coffee begins with its soft white flowers and rich brown beans, a contrast that inspires warmth and elegance in every design.
